Dear Experts,
Till now, My applicaiton transfers the mainframe files to unix application using FTP. Now Our plan is to
1) Using SFTP in place of FTP
2) Transmit all the files from Mainframe to Mainframe -UNIX partition
3) It's UNIX responsibility to get the files from Mainframes
Please explain the mecanism involved in the process. |

Is the mainframe Unix System Services in the same LPAR? If so, why not use OGET / OPUT instead of FTP or SFTP?
Unix System Services allows use of cron and crontab to schedule Unix programs -- you would use cron to kick off the FTP (SFTP) job. |
