Hi,

I am working on compiling a FCL program. I want to understand few points:

1. How FCL components are organized - whether its part of Assembler or common to other hi-level languages?
2. How to assemble FCL programs?
3. Can any hi-level program call FCL?
4. Does FCL uses only macros or is there FCL instructions available?

Can you please help me.

Another possibility is IBM's Finance Communication Language - an Assembler-type language used on 3600, 4700 and 5280 machines.

I understand that but none is aware of that. They just got that FCL is format control language and it is used to format the messgae before sendign it to screens.

We understand that by looking the programs; but to test such programs we are not sure how to do and from where we can see the extra details.

It is good if you have any knowledge and you can share it with us so that we can test that program.

is the application old, new
are You trying to make modifications ?
where did Your organization get the programs,
what language are they written in,
what are You using CICS or IMS/DC

do You realize that Your question is rathe on the illogic side,
from an acronym, and an approximate decoding You expect some full explanation from somebody outside Your organization ...
looks a bit exaggerated ( understatement )
