Hi,
I have 2 libraries : Library a , Library B .
Assume Library A contain 5 members and Library B contains 8 members .
Now they also have some common members .
I want the list of the common members and also the list of the non duplicates . Is this possible through a simple sort ?
I heard about SUM FIELDS=NONE,XSUM but i want to compare 2 PDS and not two datasets .
Regards... |

why don't you look at ISPF option 3.13 (extended compare)
and the output options. yeah, you are going to have to read the help info. |

Not sure that your sort product will be the best tool to list a PDS and then compare member names.
This has been discussed before and I believe that a solution was offered in the CLIST / REXX forum. |

Hi all,
I got the solution . As said by Dick Brenholtz
i have tried 3.13 . Listing Type OVSUM serves the purpose . It clearly gives the list of common members in the 2 PDS , compares them . It also gives the non duplicates members list in 2 PDS .
Thanks .......
