Hi All,

I am learning PL/I with DB2 newly.

I would like to know what are the setup we need to perform to use DB2 in PL/I program. Like in COBOL, we use the include structures and we bind and create the plan, similary in PL/I what all do we need and how do we execute a PL/I db2 program.

Thank You

Hello,

At the top of the page is a link to "IBM Manuals". Down the list are pl/i manuals. Suggest you look in "Enterprise PL/I Programming Guide". This link is from that manual:
publibz.boulder.ibm.com/cgi-bin/bookmgr_OS390/handheld/Connected/BOOKS/ibm3pg60/1.2.3.3

I suspect that there is already some pl/i code running and reviewing how these are compiled/run on your system would be a good place to start.
