Hi Friends ?

I am looking for some information on COBOL coding Industry standards

Also would like to know the average LoC figure that a programmer can code per day or in other words productivity figures for COBOL coding

Please post any information you know

hi vasapalli,
as far as my knowledge is concern, standarads are generally mentioned by yopur compnay only. Apart from that there are some unversal standard that should be followed as this helps while debugging the program like indentation of if- end-if, evaluate end-evaluate.
posation of to, from, thru key word.
as far as LoC is concerns it's totally depends upon the person who is coding.

I too agree that the productivity depends on the programmer but for estimations we should assume some standards correct...
