I have encountered this JCL. Can someone please help understand what does this JCL do. I have an idea about IEBEDIT but cannot relate it to this JCL
IEFPROC EXEC PGM = IEBEDIT
SYSPRINT DD SYSOUT =x
SYSUT1 DD DDNAME=IEFRDER
SYSUT2 DD SYSOUT=(A,INTRDR),DCB=BLKSIZE=80
SYSIN DD DUMMY
IEFRDER DD DISP=SHR,PRD.INPUT.DATA(BKROUTE)
PRD.INPUT.DATA(BKROUTE) CONTAINS ->
/*$VS, '$TO' 'SDT#DBS'',ALL,Q=W,F=BK53,D=LOCAL' |

Hello,
I believe your question is more about the JCL than IEBEDIT. . . The jcl posted simply copies the "input" to the "internal reader". If you use the forum SEARCH feature, there are multiple topics about the internam reader.
At the top of the page is a link to "IBM Manuals" among which is the "IBM JCL Utilities Guide for DFSMS". This manual has the documentation for IEBEDIT. |
