I need to convert date into integer and then i have to do some manipulation and again i have to convert into date format. how to do it in Eztrieve is there any specfic commands like cobol.

Can you please explain to me how CA-EZTRIEVE suddenly becomes a mainframe COBOL topic.

Few date Macros are available with 'Easytreive addons' (which ofcourse are paid ones). Check if they are available at your shop.
