Hi,

In my shop all the components are stored in Endevor. For viewing the program we need to go to endevor and brose it. At a time only one endevor session can be opened because of which we can browse only one program at a time.
Kindly let me know where these source code is stored in Endevor. IF its a PDS i can go and look into that library for the source. Kindly help me.

Just a clue as when we browse the endevor component through DISPLAY option, its opening the source code in the temporary PDS as userid.somename##.S1.S49.COBOL.

1. Endevor is one of the CA-products, so going forward please post your questions, related to Endevor, in CA-Products part of the Forum. This topic is moved there now.

2. Please learn to search the Forum, here is a related thread on what you asked for : Question Regarding Endevor.

Hi Anuj,

The topic you linked is a duplicate from naveengec. . .

I suggest naveengec ask the local Endevor support (or someone else on the project) as the answer is likely site-specific. . .

As anyone knows, who has bothered to read the CA documentation on Endevor
(especially, when one has a question about the product):
The ISPF editable-pds's to which you refer,
are generated, populated and maintained as an option.
That means your support group
  • allocate (and maintain) PDSs
  • write EXIT routines (-rexx,assembler, cobol maybe) to populate these PDSs

So, as everybody here said, talk to your support group.

The version of Endevor, which I am currently using,
provides the PDS names in one of the environmental display panels.

Thanks very much for the prompt reply dbzTHEdinosauer. I was looking for this answer. So it is an option in endeavor and it is site specific. For me also only COBOl codes are not stored in endeavor, JCL, PROC, copy books and control cards are stored in an ISPF PDS.

Thanks ANuj and Dick.
