We run a weekly 'repro infile(x) outfile(y) reuse'. From what I understand the reuse sets hrba to 0 - emptying dataset. What if there is more then one extent used? Will the entire VSAM empty? Duplicate data sometimes occurs the 1st week of the month.

If the HURBA resets to zero, that "clears" all extents.

Perhaps the process combines the new records with the current file and REPROs the whole thing back? The first week picks up the file twice? Go through your job stream very carefully.
