Hi,
Today in one of the onsite communication i got a mail that CIRATS is going to be implemented on SYSA/SYSB in our mainframe. Could anybody help me out on first what is a CIRATS and what does it do and what is the impact of it.
Kindly let me know for any further more details.
Thx,

how in <heaven> do You expect us to know ?
ask the people who sent You the eMail ...
it' s usually a bad approach to just drop an acronym and expect people to find out for You,
what have You done to find out Yourself , looks like the answer is ... nothing
but maybe they are referring to the ... Compliance, Issue, Risk, APAR Tracking System
topic will be locked shortly to avoid useless network traffic |

I believe, CIRATS is a product related to Mainframe security. And SYSA/SYSB seems to be two differnt LPARs at your shop. But yes, I too echo Mr. Sorichetti. |

Hi Dr.Sorichetti, Mr.Dhawan & Dr. Expat,
Thanks for your replies & sharing the knowledge with me, at the
same time, I apologize for saying that in one of the onsite communication i got this requirement.
I understands that CIRATS is a "Compliance, Issue, Risk, APAR Tracking System". And SYSA/SYSB are the LPARs, so no issues with them.
Kindly let me know the more about CIRATS, like how it is operated,
what are all the standards that need to be followed while using this tools, what are all its options, etc.
Please share your knowledge with me for this tool.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Dr.Sorichetti, Mr.Dhawan & Dr. Expat, |
we just address by first name around here...
using a formal title should be usually followed by a smiley
unless naturally Dr. Expat has a different opinion!
my remark about using titles for addressig people was in a different thread in a different context |
