Hi,
Is it possible to route the symptom dump of a job to a file. When ever a job abends the symptom dump is present in the 'JESMSGLG'. I would like to have in in an seperate file. My requirement is to send this details in a mail. Is this possible. Can any one help me out in this.

I need it in that particular step itself. Is there any dd name (like sysdump) which will have only the symptom dump details.

JESMSGLG? Those are JES datasets, you need to add a step to your job (or as a separate job), that use SDSF batch commands. |
