Hi,
I have a requirement to copy one PDS members to another PDS except empty members. Is this posible with ICETOOL. If yes please provide sample example. |

Welcome to the forum - so please note DO NOT just ask for code without showing your own attempts. This is a HELP forum, not a do it for me forum.
I would say that no, it is not possible using ICETOOL.
You will need a program such as REXX to interrogate the PDS directory to get record counts of each member. Of course, if the ISPF statistics have not been maintained for every member, then you need to open those members to verify that there are records present.
With the results from the step above you can generate the control statements for IEBCOPY and then invoke IEBCOPY all within the same REXX code. |

Why do you choose ICETOOL instead of rather used IEBCOPY for such tasks? Are you from some SORT product team, by any chance? |
