diff b/w keep and catlg

HI

I wanted know
1)what is the difference between a) disp=(new,catlg,catlg) and
b) disp=(new,keep,keep)

using 3.4 option can we see the a) and b) data sets

In the first case dataset created and cataloged irrespective of sucess or failure of job.

In the second case dataset only created but not cataloged irrespective of sucess or failure of job.

You can see the dataset which is created thru first case using 3.4 where as in second case I am not sure.

Hi Lalita,

In the 2nd case in 3:4 you have to provide the vol ser # for the d/s.
