Hi Everyone,

Can anyone explain me about the spanned records in details. How it is stored in multiple CI while spanning?

Spanned records can be used in VSAM but they also can be used in sequential files so only the presence of the "multiple CI" in your question allows us to classify it as a VSAM question. Spanned records can be fixed or variable length in a sequential file.
