The DDIO file contains the source code listing used to provide source during debugging sessions. It can also be used by Abend Aid for source code listing when analyzing a dump. |

Xpediter use DDIO file to store information about load modules and sources.
In a debug session, XPEDITER references the stored information in the DDIO file that was generated by the Language Processor (LP) during compile time. Without this information XPEDITER can not display a program at the source level although sourceless debugging is also available.
At least one DDIO file is required for source level debugging. |

Usually the name of the DDIO dataset is set by the system programmer who installed Xpediter. You can create a private DDIO datest but that is most unlikely because the internal record format is set by Compuware. Suggest,you check with your system programmer who supports Xpediter. |
