Hi,
Please let me know if it is possible to know which Job/User created a IAM dataset. I tried LISTCAT, VTOC info, IAM info etc but all gives the create date and not the creater name.
Thanks, |

Started Reading SMF... Seems to be a Huge subject in itself
I got the JCL from the above manual which can retreive the required information . But the only problem i have is that i dont know the SMF dump name in my system . Can you please guide me what is the general naming conventions by which these dumps are created.
Thanks |

Have a word with someone from
(a) Storage management
(b) Capacity and performance planning
(c) Sysprogs
To find out the names of the dumped SMF datasets, and use them. It can be dangerous to use the live datasets if you are not sure what you are doing. |
