Counting the records in input file and set the return code.

Hi All,

i have requirement such that if the record count count from the input file is greater than 60000 then i have to set RC=1 so that i can deside in next step whether i have to send the mail or not.

Can we do it thru DFSORT?

Not sure about selecting the RC that you want, but this step returns a 4 if the count of records in the dataset is higher than 8
