How to compare two files using a COBOL program, and i need a output of unmatched records in the output file. |

Use DFSORT, SYNCORT, EComp ..... |

Hello,
At the top of the COBOL part of the forum is sample working code for a 2-file match/merge process.
Please download that code and change according to your requirement.
If the ONLY requirement is the match, you might consider some utility. If there is other processing/logic, your own code may be the better choice. |
