Hi ,

anyone can you please explain

1) how many bites comp-3 varibles occupied

i)s9(4) comp-3 how many bytes?
ii)s9(7) comp-3 how many bytes
iii)s9(11) comp-3 how many bytes?

There is a link to the manuals at the top of the page. Click on it, find the COBOL Language Reference manual, navigate to section 5.3.17.1, and read up for yourself how COMP-3 values are stored. If you have questions after reading the manual, please let us know.
