Hi All,

How many bytes can be stored in one track. Rather, for PS defined as SPACE=(TRK,(1,2)), DCB=(,RECFM=FB,LRECL=80,BLKSIZE=8000) can hold how many records. Also, how many tracks are present in one cylinder.

Thanks,
Shree

All of this information is readily available from previous posts on the forum, or from google.

Also, reconsider the BLKSIZE specification and allow SDB to define the optimum.
