Hi All,
I had searched manulas,posts in forum about this but couldn't information.
Can some one please provide informaion about ROUND parameter, use in SORT steps. |

ROUND is a JCL parameter. Take a look at the JCL manuals in the IBM Manuals link at top of page.

Hi Garry,
Thank you, Found some information on
Round : The system computes the space the data set needs,rounds up to the nearest cylinder,and allocates complete cylinders so that the space begins on first track of a cylinder and ends on the last track.ROUND places the data on the minimum number of cylinders possible by starting on a cylinder boundary. |
