IAM Dataset Utilities is used for
Allocate\COPY VSAM Cluster
Delete\Rename a Dataset, Cluster, Path, or Alternate Index etc..

Actualy I have IAM dataset utility option at my shop like below. Which we use for above mentioned tasks.

   M     - Move an IAM Dataset, VSAM KSDS, or VSAM ESDS

   U     - Invoke an IAM Utility program                                       
   blank - Display IAM Dataset or VSAM Cluster Information

Actually, almost all of those are just a front end for IDCAMS, or the IDP equivilent.
IDCAMS can be used to process IAM datasets and VSAM datasets.
