Is it possible to code a JCL to schedule a job in OPC by giving run date as a input? Instead of using OPC panels i want to know is there any utility to do the scheduling through batch?

Hello,

Have you spoken with the scheduling people?

Have you looked in the documentation?

If you get a confusing answer or read something in the manual that is not clear, post the info and your question about it.

Someone should be able to clarify.

As Dick suggested, you need to talk to your scheduling people.

Mmmmmmmmmm, recall one case of someone asking about this in the past, when they wanted to do something to bypass change control to do an update via batch rather than have the scheduling people do the work, but he fell foul of security which would not let him perform the requested updates in batch.

Hi Dick,

I'm working in scheduling team from past one year in development support... I would fullfill request from developer to initiate jobs separately not in batch using modfiy current pannel option in OPC.

I heard the above scenrio but didn't tried beacuse don't know how to do that.... I read some documents but could not able to found scenrio like this....could you please let me know how to do that if possible.....
