HI,
Iam new to DB2. I have added two new fields in an existing table. The fields are fetched to a flat file. What are all the possibe test cases for this.

You add new columns to a table not fields. |

you have technical and you have application test cases.
technical- is column properly populated, can it be populated with garbage.
application - you know the application, we don't. |

Some person or department owns that data.
They must provide the rules of what are the valid content values. The code that inserts new rows or modifies existing rows must implement the rules. The rules might be very simple or very complex. No one here at the forum can tell you those rules. |
