Hi,

I tried to insert some currency symbols '$', '£' and '€' in DB2 table(Column defined as CHAR(2)) using QMF. '$' and '£' symbols got inserted successfully, but not able to insert Euro '€' symbol. It's not even getting displayed on the Mainframe screen.
Some of the symbols are displayed as '?'.
How can we store currency symbols in DB2 table?

Regards,
Sandeep

If I am not mistaken for the Euro, you would need to alter the CCSID at the database level. I am not a DBA so don't know the specifics but I do remember reading that somewhere
