Can anyone post some examples of displaying values of a file in Panel. (I actually mean, about browsing a file through a panel).

Why not just Browse the file? With or without your own panel? What are you trying to do differently?

My statement above would have been confusing. But, this is what my intention is,

We have a process, to get some values (selected) from the system file which will be used in building a job.

I am trying to automate this process. I would want to browse the file and display the necessary fields on th panel and apply the select criteria. The selected values from the file would be written into a stem which inturn are used for building the Job.

I think your terminology is still not right. It would make more sense to read the file, extract the necessary fields, and then display them.

So what have you tried?
