This one is probably more TSO related, but since it's a TSO/ISPF subforum I'll ask it here.
What would be the proper way to enable logins to multiple systems in a Sysplex with the same user account?
One idea is to make a clone of the logon procedure and use that, but is there a better way (something with ISPF profile dataset)?
This error is shown if I try to login to a second machine in a Sysplex:
Code: |
CAUTION:
A severe error occurred when reading the profile table.
Error Message: ISPT036 - Table in use
TBOPEN issued for table ISPSPROF that is in use, ENQUEUE failed. |

HI ALL,
I want to take a copy of the same memeber with different name in same PDS. I am able to do this by giving C in front of the needed member and then typing the Project Group Type and new member name.
Is there any simpler way of doing it by giving some * in Project, Group and Type, so that i need not type in the current dataset name again.
This may sound weird, but I feel there mit be an option to do this. |
Hi Kaleel
Instead of doing a 'C' try this simple method using REPLACE command.
Open the PDS member in view mode . Select all the lines in the member by a C99999 in the first line . In the command line type the following . REP <new member name> . Eg REP XYZXYZ . The same member will be copied into a new member XYZXYZ into the same PDS. |

Hello,
When you have a question, you should start a new topic for your question rather than posting a reply to some inactive, unrelated topic. |

Thnx for the moderation dick, but the Debabrata's post is out of the context here... |
