I should have included this info in my initial reqeust. The on-line program is a COBOL/IMS program.

Hello,

Suggest you talk with your IMS support person.

If you want to try an experiment in a test environment, i'd make sure that your support is on board just in case this would bring down the environment. If there is a "sandbox" for such experimentation, that would be a good place to try.
