Hi,

I want to write a header record of 80 bytes length. the header should have current date in CCYYMMDD format.

Use the following DFSORT JCL. The output will have current date in ccyymmdd format in pos 30.
Code:

//SYSOUT   DD SYSOUT=*                                   
//SORTIN   DD *

//SORTOUT  DD SYSOUT=*
