What needs to be coded in LABEL parameter to tell the system that you need to retain the tape datastet for n number of days? |

RETPD=??? where ??? is the number of days
Of course, if the tape data set is a GDG that may or may not apply. |

Just for a Note, If the disposition for the data set is DISP=(NEW,DELETE) the data set will deleted at the end of the step even though EXPDT is specified. |

Deleted as in uncataloged, but depending on the site rules, the retention period may or may not be honoured by the TMS.
That is something you need to discuss with your storage management people. |
