We would need a SAS subject matter expert to moderate such a forum, or preferably a technical product support representative from SAS. |

I could moderate it, although I am not associated with SAS Institute. |

Honestly, I don't think that there are enough SAS topics on a regular basis to warrant an entire forum. But, let's see what the others think. |

Can't see a problem with there being another forum to look at, but judging by the posters ability to select the correct forum I'm sure that it will soon be full of SORT, REXX, ISPF, COBOL and assorted other threads. |

FWIW,
A simple forum SEARCH for SAS returned 328 hits. . .
Another section wouldn't hurt my head. . . Besides, it would make Robert a moderator

Yeah, I'm sort of OK with that But we'd better delete all the comments we've made about him on the moderators forum first |

apparently to 'think about it';
especially since only 2 people (the TS and you) have inquired.
I imagine most people using SAS either - read the manual
- ask their co-workers
- go to the 'SAS' website

Or possibly they found something that would help in the previous 300+ SAS topics in this forum. . .

A while back, we had someone post a topic that they wanted an application testing forum. After much debate, a new forum was added. To this day, I can't recall seeing hardly any topics posted there. The original requestor hasn't posted any.
I personally don't see the need. |
