Hi all,
I need to code E35 exit in my job.
I have the requirement with me. But i do not have any useful docs
which have good examples. Could you please share any docs, examples which are present on E15 and E35.
E35 is the most important for me right now.
I want to code in E35 in cobol and call it from JCL SORT card.
Thanks fotr your help in advance.
Thanks,
Chandra |

From your previous post it appears that you are using SYNCSORT and not DFSORT.
Topic moved to JCL forum for SYNCSORT solutions. |

Can you share this? If you dont have access to a manual, request for one from Use [URL] BBCode for External Links or send a PM to Alissa Margulies(JCL Moderator). They'll help you to get one soon. |

Have you not considered using the internal sort in cobol? This will invoke Syncsort (on your system, other products on other systems).
What requirement is there that this must be a standalone sort with exit code? |

are you sure that you can not use sort CONTROL cards to accomplish the task?
that is one of the reasons both sort products expanded their CONTROL card inventory. |
