A field-name was referenced in a file which had no active record. The file might have been closed, or might be at end-of-file, or in synchronized file mode with no active record. The name of the file is specified by file-name. |

Hello,
Do you or someone else have Easytrieve code that reads this file successfully?
Can you successfully use the file in any other process (i.e. file-aid, sort, cobol, etc)?
If either answer is yes, most likely you have an error in this particular Easytrieve code or a problem with the jcl. . . |

Dick,
are you suggesting that he discuss his problem with his co-workers? |

Hi Dick,
I realize this is a novel concept, but yea, verily, i do so suggest. . .
Rather radical, huh. . .?
