Hi all,

I am trying to display the recently opened last 10 datasets in the 3.4 option of the ISPF pannel.

Presently when I go to 3.4 option it is not showing any recently opened datasets in the data set list options.

One of my friend has sugested to type the below command under the READY prompt
'addalloc ispplib 'IDIDIDI.mibispf1.ispplib'

IDIDIDI--represents your ID.

then it was showing addalloc not found

the I have tried the below

I have created the below PDS and member
IDS.TSOUTIL.REALLOC(ISPPLIB)

Inside the member I have pasted the below lines.
----
The following datasets will be added to the front of the
ISPPLIB concatenation, in the order listed
'IDS.MIBISPF1.ISPPLIB'
----

Note:IDS--represent your ID.

then loged off and logged in still this is not working

Can you people sugest something?

My question was going to be, what does the whole last part of this topic have to do with the main problem stated at the beginning?

the approach/understanding is just plain wrong

You can achieve what You ask for by...
typing DSLIST on any screen
or selecting the REFLIST pull down menu ( from the 3.4 menu )
