A member has been moved from 1 PDS to another pds. Is it possible to know who moved it and when was it moved?

Thanks,

Yes you can find this out as long as destiantion PDS member is not edited. Just go to PDS in which your member is moved, you can see the member list along with user ids and when that member was last modified or even when it was created...

ispf statistics, if they are on, are not altered by a move operation.

If the member was moved via IEBCOPY or other batch utility, good luck in looking at the ISPF statistics. In general, finding out this kind of data is difficult for entire data sets; finding it out for a PDS member may well be impossible, depending on how your site is set up.

Best recommendation: contact your site support group and find out what, if any, tools they have to track this sort of data.

SMF record type 42 subtype 21 records the delete of a member.

Click HERE for the SMF manual.
