EBCID to ASCII conversion.

How this can be achieved??

To enable conversion from EBCDIC to ASCII..the clauses are
1. EBCDIC None
2. ASCII All
3. transform
4. none

Where is this conversion to take place?

In FTP, in some utility like sort, in a user-written program?

Not sure how this fits with the interview question, but EBCDIC to ASCII is usually done when moving data from the mainframe to unix or Windows and the conversion is handled by the file transfer.
