Hi
I have a job say JOB2 on an LPAR. I am running a job JOB1 on some other LPAR and JOB1 has to trigger JOB2 and I also need to pass some parameter from JOB1 to JOB2.
With DMBATCH and RUN JOB, I am able to trigger the job, but I am not able to pass parameters or better to say I dont know how to pass parameters in RUN JOB.
Can anyone please help? |

A couple of comments:
1. You need to obtain a set of product manuals. As I already noted in your other topic, it's RUN JOB DSN=DSN(MEMBER) and that's it.
2. Jobs don't take parameters, so consequently the RUN JOB command also doesn't take parameters. You should probably work with your Production Support, Technical Support, or Data Transfer Support (EDI) teams, or with the process owner from the other node and come up with an alternate solution. |
