How to create LPAR and setup new environment

Hi All,

Can you please provide a documents which are used to create logical partition in mainframe and setup new environment.
if you have screen shots for above process then it will be good.

why not ask Your support for the relevant hardware manuals ?

The process of setting up a new LPAR requires a lot of knowledge -- the hardware definitions of units, the channel set up, the cross-memory connections available, CHPID assignments, how to share disk and tape channels, and so forth. This is not something that can be done without extensive reference to the existing environment and limitations thereof. As has been said earlier, contact your site support group for help -- the details required are totally site specific and no web site will give you the information to do this.
