Hello Everyone,
In a recent Interview I was asked" Can we use XML and COBOL together for application programming. " Honestly i had no answer.

Do anybody have the Working experience doing so.

1. What is the advantage of XML with COBOL. Does XML makes better interface than CICS. I have only knowledge about COBOL-CICS only. Please put your thoughts on this.

Thank you very much .

Regards
Manoj

If you had checked the manuals link at the top of the page, and looked in the COBOL Language Reference, you would quickly find out that XML PARSE and other XML commands are now part of COBOL.
