On what CICS file are the data set names of the file control table entries found? What is the record format? Can I print these records using IDCAMS? |

For your release of CICS, find the CICS Operations and Utilities Guide manual. Read the chapter on System definition file utility program (DFHCSDUP). Use the command specified in this chapter along with the JCL, customized for your site, to list the file control table entries.
I doubt that IDCAMS can be used for this as the records have to be interpreted -- dumping the raw data is ugly. The record format is probably IBM confidential information, although I haven't looked to see if it is in one of the data area manuals. |

Glad I could be of assistance. If you have any questions about DFHCSDUP, I've used it quite a number of times so I should be able to help. |
