please be more clear in Your question...
a job is written using the JCL <LANGUAGE> with it' s rules and parameters
the main objective of a JOB is to execute a program which acts on datasets
it does not make any difference at all the language used to develop the program being excuted
looking at the jcl You will never be able to determine the language in wich the program was developed |

Please re-phrase your question. I have read your request a few times and both of Enrico's replies and i am still not sure what you are looking for.
Keep in mind that your request is completely clear to you, but possibly will not be clear to others.
If you describe what you want to accomplish in more detail, it will help. If you can post any kind of example, that should help also. |

This is site specific since your site support group set up the compile procedures -- contact them to find out what will work for your site. While IBM has some standard procedures, sites can change them so we cannot say what will work for you.
And the options for the assembler are not the same as for COBOL, so you need to review them in the manual. |
