Hi
Can some one please clarify me on this?
I have three jobs.... J1, J2, J3
Is it possible to schedule these jobs on TWS such that .........
If RC of J1 is 0 then J2 should be triggered
If RC of J1 is 4 then J3 should be triggered
If RC of J1 is 8 then batch should stop.
Actually we are in design phase of a project, and my design needs such scheduling logic. Please let me know if such scheduling is possible and is an acceptable approach?
Thanks |

yes such scheduling is possible,
but you may want to get with your ops people
to insure that they know how to implement. |

If it is documented - in such a way that one can understand -
IMUO - yes.
A tool is a tool. you have programs, return codes, schedulers. use them.
but unfortunately this is site specific; depends on the standards.
others members of the forum will contribute based on their experience. |
