PLT Re-assemble

What is Re-assembling PLT after making changes to it ? Why is it required ? what happens when a PLT is re-assembles?

Like all CICS Tables, the PLT is a module loaded into storage from a load library. Like any program, when you make a change to the source you need to re-assemble (or compile) to produce the updated load module.
