FTP in Jcl, what is the meaning of REPLACE

The FTP command in jcl is,

LOCSITE LRECL=278
GET 'Source file' 'Destination file' (REPLACE

Can anyone please explain, what is the meaning of REPLACE.

Take a look in the dictionary if you are unsure of what REPLACE means.

Ouch. Replace overwrites the destination file, in this case, the host file, if you are getting it from a Server
