anyone can let me know the meaning of the definition as below on a DBD?

Hello,

At the top of the page is a link to "IBM Manuals". Among them are the IMS manuals. What you are looking for is in the documentation.

If you find something in the documentation that is not clear, post what you found that is not clear and someone will be able to clarify.

There is no reason for people here to read the manuals for you. . .
