| In an interview,they asked it is possible to lock the record in a DB2 table by using the LOCKSIZE greater than tht of a page...similarly how to lock a record in a dataset?? |

You've got to love these interviewers who come up with basically nonsensical hypothetical questions that then get posted here ....
Unknowns that could impact the answer: VSAM or sequential file? online or batch processing? COBOL, PL/I, C, or assembler? |
