and do what with them?
maybe I misinterpreted your question,
check out reports.
there are several that will list element name the type of component where it resides and dates.
though reports are not run by SCL. |

why don't you want to go into endevor?
as far as accessing the endevor 'proprietary file system' ,
the product documentation provides direction.
Interesting enough,
it is always thru CALLing an endevor module to access the 'database'.
if the answer is to my question is that it is too slow,
you may want to learn how to better qualify your queries.
my last site had an enormous endevor database -
thousands of projects, millions of elements.
requesting simply 'abcde' without qualifying did tend to take a while.
if you are a developer, you need to master your tool - endevor.
if you are a support person - sys-pgmr, you have the documentation. |

Hi dbzTHEdinosauer,
I meant that if i want to know the component type of a particular element,i current condition i need to go to endivour different screens. If i create a rexx, that is calling the endevour program by passing the parm parameter ..may be i'll get the component type.If i get the any SCL which gives me the component type of an elment that will be great help for me..
