Can we display a name(for ex: company name) in spool region without cobol and using jcl alone.? |

suppose in a report i want to print the company name on the top.
how can i do it using the jcl commands? |

Whatever is producing the report should print the (e.g.) company name. Some program has to run - JCL alone can't do what you want.

Probably be a lot easier to get the program to generate the correct headers in the first place.
Other wise you would have to unload the SDSF element to a file, edit the file and then print it again to SDSF. |

Your question is not clear. From where do you get the company name? How does input look like? How you want the company name to appear in output?
May be SORT can be of some use here . . . |

Sorry, tat i cudnt be clear. And my question was about using a header thru jcl.
I got the solution. We can do it using SORT.
