Can we move a value to table/array name?

Hi,
Please let me know if we can initialise all the elements of the table my moving a value to the table name?
If not, what will happen if we try to move a value to a table name.

I meant:
If we have table/array declared in the following manner.
01 TB_NM.
05 ELEMENT OCCURS 2 TIMES.

Then what the following statement will cause?

MOVE 3 TO TB_NM.

01 TB_NM VALUE "03".
05 ELEMENT OCCURS 2 TIMES.


Now element(1) = 0 and element(2) = 3.
