Hello,
we have a job which would be triggered by the first generation of GDG. It is setup in CA-7 scheduler as below:
Code: |
------ TRIGGERED BY JOBS/DATASETS/NETWORKS ------------------
DSN=DS00310500(GDG Base(0))
SCHID=000 QTM=0020 LEADTM=0020 SUBMTM=0000 |
but job is not getting triggered when first generation created in TSO. Any setup change needed?...
Note: The GDG first generation is created thru ftp process from SAP system. |

Are you sure that CA7 is seeing the gdg being cut, issue the following command LCTLG,DSN=DSNNAME you should see the time when the dataset was cut. |

This process may require the job that creates the dataset to be run via Ca7.... |

Did you check the Ca7 manual for Dsn triggering.
Can the ftp process submit a job? if so then you can trigger it that way |
